During the 2025 Sony Open, SNA donated $5,000 USD to Hawai'i Legacy Reforestation, a nonprofit working to preserve economically viable and sustainable native Hawaiian forests, in support of their reforestation efforts.
SNA also hosted an e-Waste event at a local school, collecting more than 3,800 pounds of waste. Through these efforts, SNA continued to support Sony Open in Hawai'i, which is recognized as a green event under the Hawai'i State Green Business certification program.

On Sunday, Jan. 19, SNA participated in the 43rd annual San Diego Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
SNA's UJIMA employee network tapped into the parade theme, "The Time is Now" to reinforce the urgency of Dr. King's messages of hope and progress.

Partnering with the International Medical Corps (IMC), SNA's Community Impact team invited San Diego-based employees to give a few minutes to build 1,200 hygiene care kits, which the team completed in just over five hours. The care kits were shipped to IMC warehouses around the world in preparation for the next disaster.

February is American Heart Month in the United States, and SNA showed their support of heart health by participating in a 5K partner fun run, while also learning about heart health and inspiring each other to work toward healthier living and stronger partnerships.

The Kids in Focus program recently held a photography workshop at Bracknell & Wokingham College in the UK, engaging around 40 students aged 16-18. Led by professional photographer Tom Oldham and Sony Digital Imaging specialists, the workshop included hands-on activities and technical training with six donated Alpha 6100 cameras. Students learned creative photography techniques using interactive elements like nerf guns and bubble machines. The event also featured talks from Oldham, who shared insights into professional photography. Both the students and the Sony team found the experience rewarding, highlighting the importance of nurturing young talent in the art of photography.

Over 130 colleagues from various Sony companies in France participated in a volunteering event called "La Grande Collecte Nationale," organized by the charity Les Restos du Coeur, which provides warm meals and support to the homeless and low-income individuals. This initiative mobilized more than 7,500 volunteers to collect food and hygiene products at public locations. Participants shared positive experiences, highlighting the friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to connect with colleagues outside of work while contributing to a meaningful cause. The event emphasized the importance of community support and mental well-being.

As part of SHINE project, STT continues to maintain the trees at Khao Kheow -Khao Chomphu Wildlife Sanctuary, Chonburi. To-date, 280 trees have been planted at the site since the project started three years ago. The latest activation saw the participating of 43 members from local community, government bodies and STT. Further, STT also organized a beach clean up at Nong Nam Kheow Park, Chonburi. Part of the One Blue Ocean project, 10kg of trash was collected through the exercise.

237 issues of old calendars weighing approximately 87kg were collected from STT employees and donated to Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal Patronage of H.M. the Queen, which will be recycled for the production of braille for the Person with a visual disability.

with the aim to create grassroot sporting revolution and nature future champions, SID has collaborated with Manav Rachna Sports Academy and Art of Living since 2021, providing support for selected athletics in four categories. One of the beneficiary Lakkshhya Gupta, who trained under the program for the past four years, recently won a silver medal at the prestigious Khelo India Para Table Tennis Tournament 2025, held in New Delhi.

As part of its CSR efforts to empower for the Person with a visual disability, SID has selected beneficiaries across 21 branches and gifted the Smart Vision glasses, designed to assist in navigating surroundings, detecting obstacles, reading printed and digital text in multiple languages, and accessing emergency support features. In addition, The Covid pandemic continues to leave many families vulnerable, especially those who lost breadwinners. Focusing on healthcare, education and skills to help these families to rebuild with dignity, SID partners with M/s Impact Guru Foundation and launched "Sony India Sanjeevani" program. The program will offer financial and resource assistances to the affected families, with due diligence conducted to assess each application.

Employees from SOMEA came together and volunteered at Senses Residential and Day Care for Special Needs - a nonprofit charitable organization based in Dubai, serving orphans and abandoned children with special needs.

28 employees together with 35 family and friends came together and participated in cleaning up Bur Ruwayyah – popularly known as Half Desert and collected 116.61kg of waste. The clean-up is part of the Clean UAE Campaign that gathered enthusiasts from companies, government, academic institutions and more, with the same interests and objective of promoting cleanliness and sustainability.

The 13th Sony Creative Science Award (SCSA) held its training courses in Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung for 90 shortlisted teams (A total of 360 students/teachers/parents), selected from 183 teams. The training covered three main topics of science, creating thinking and digital imaging. The goal was to support children to create science toys more easily and enjoyably.

The multi-faceted Greensim Project, a collaboration between SOK and Ewha Women's University's AIESEC, aims to create a space for young volunteers with the goal to contribute to SDG 13 - Climate Action. Recently, a 6-weeks program was launched for both domestic students as well as overseas volunteers, and concluded with Instagram posts, journal and activity recap video. More importantly, participants are exposed to project management as well as working with various experts and organizations who have strong expertise in environment, on top of gaining new perspectives or insights from foreign volunteers for issues on hand.

In 4Q FY24, SES carried out 2 Science Journeys in Hebei Province. Respectively we went to Xingtai Science &Technology Museum (Mar. 20th), Hehei Science &Technology Museum and Shijiazhuang Guang'an Street Primary School (Mar. 21st). Altogether 1,220 people participated in SES classic science show &DIY science workshop.

To deeply implements the concept of "For the Next generation"—SONY's global corporate social responsibility concept. We are dedicated to promoting a diverse range of community volunteer services and fostering a culture of volunteerism, striving to build a better society. In 2024, Sony China conducted four volunteer activities in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenyang and Shenzhen to support the growth and education of children with autism.
The event supported community activities for Sony's stakeholders and was attended by a total of 228 people.

In February, SCN held the Sony Dream Class in Chongqing, where a total of 441 elementary school students and 32 teachers participated in lessons on sustainability, psychological group support, and instruction from singer Mr. Zhang Li.
SCN has been implementing the "Sony Dream Class" project for 11 years since 2013, under the slogan "For the Next Generation." We contribute to STEAM education by donating Sony products to local communities and providing Sony's music, film, and animation intellectual properties to the younger generation.

We held forest maintenance activities and owl nesting box construction at Sony Forest, with 14 participants including employees and their families. The activities began in the morning, and through teamwork, we quickly completed tasks such as transporting bamboo to maintain the health of the forest! After that, we worked together to create nesting boxes aimed at building a habitat for owls, which are considered the apex of the ecosystem in the Nishimikawa region of Aichi Prefecture. The owl nesting boxes will be installed around summer.

Cleanup activities were conducted around the Kisarazu Site in March. We concerned about the weather, but the rain stopped before the event, and the event was carried out as scheduled. 142 employees voluntarily participated and collected 60 kg of garbage as we did last time.

Sony HC BRAVIA Ladies, as part of their off-season activities, are conducting school visits and hosting hockey classes and events aimed at community contribution. From January to February, they visited three elementary schools and interacted with the children. Additionally, at a hockey promotion event held at a local shopping mall, they introduced the fun of hockey and the harshness of competing through hockey experience sessions and talk shows.

In February, the 36th Disassembly Workshop - Learn How Things Work - was held at Sony City Minato Mirai. It is a workshop in which elementary school students disassemble a working Sony product, each one under the guidance of a Sony employee who participates as a "disassembly doctor," learning first-hand how to use tools, how the equipment works, and the scientific principles used in the product. This time we disassembled a "CD radio cassette player". 27 elementary school students and their parents, as well as eight employee volunteers who assisted with the disassembly, were participated.

In March, a workshop using IC recorders was held at the Shinagawa City Environmental Learning Exchange Facility "Ecoru Togoshi," located in the lush Togoshi Park in Shinagawa City, Tokyo. At the workshop, elementary school students participated, and they used the "PCM-A10" high-resolution linear PCM recorder, which utilizes high-quality sound collection technology, to collect sounds from the nature. Four employee volunteers participated as support staff.

In March, as one of an activity of "One Blue Ocean Project" which is promoted by Sony Group Corporation, SEC held 4th beach clean-up event at Katase Higashihama Beach in Kanagawa Prefecture. A total of 54 people participated, including employees and their families, and in one hour they picked up a total of 840 liters of trash plus five bulky items.
