Wataru Suzuki Photo Exhibition Everest Eats

The route leading to Everest Base Camp—the starting point for summit attempts of Mount Everest—is commonly known as the Everest Base Camp trek. Stretching approximately 130 kilometers round trip, it is a journey that takes about two weeks to complete on foot.

This exhibition presents photographs of the food and landscapes encountered along the way.
Unlike everyday meals, the food on the trek is adapted to the high-altitude environment—quietly warming the chilled body and gently easing both physical fatigue and the mind worn by long days of walking.

Together with the breathtaking scenery, these moments formed an unforgettable experience unique to this route alone. That memory continues to linger softly, even after the journey has come to an end.
